Connect your AI client
Connect Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Grok CLI, and other AI clients to Creo Memories so they can save and search your memories.
Creo Memories connects to AI clients over MCP (Model Context Protocol). The steps for each client follow that vendor's official guide. These steps have not been tried end to end with each client, so use Check the connection to confirm that yours works. The server URL is:
https://mcp.creo-memories.in/mcp
After adding it to your client, sign in with the Creo Memories account you normally use. You do not need to put an API key in any configuration.
This page covers connecting as a remote MCP server. Do not reuse configuration files meant for locally running MCP servers. Available features depend on each vendor's plan and on your organization's admin settings.
Claude (web and desktop)
On an individual plan (Pro, Max, and so on):
- Open "Customize" > "Connectors".
- Click "+ Add", then "Add custom connector".
- Set the name to
Creo Memoriesand the remote MCP server URL tohttps://mcp.creo-memories.in/mcp, then continue. - Under authentication, do not choose "No sign in". Creo Memories needs you to sign in.
- Connect it and sign in with your Creo Memories account.
On Team and Enterprise plans, an organization owner first adds a custom connector with the same URL in "Organization settings" > "Connectors". Members then find it in "Customize" > "Connectors", click "Connect", and sign in.
To use it in a conversation, click "+" at the bottom left of the chat box, open "Connectors", and turn on Creo Memories. You can turn it on or off per conversation.
Screen names and steps may change. If they differ, follow Claude's guide below.

Claude Code
Register it for your user.
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user creo-memories https://mcp.creo-memories.in/mcp
Start Claude Code, run /mcp, choose creo-memories, and sign in. /mcp also shows the connection status.

Codex
Register it with the Codex CLI.
codex mcp add creo-memories --url https://mcp.creo-memories.in/mcp
If no sign-in page opens, run this to sign in:
codex mcp login creo-memories
Check the registration with codex mcp list, then confirm the tools work in a new Codex conversation. Being listed is not the same as being able to read and write memories, so go on to Check the connection.

Grok CLI
These steps are for the official Grok CLI from xAI. It is different from unofficial CLIs with the same name and from connector settings on grok.com.
grok mcp add --transport http creo-memories https://mcp.creo-memories.in/mcp
Start Grok CLI and sign in to Creo Memories in the browser that opens on the first connection. If it still asks you to sign in, choose the server from /mcps and sign in there. Use grok mcp list to check the registration and grok mcp doctor creo-memories to diagnose the connection.

Check the connection
- Ask: "Remember in Creo Memories that I write my work notes in English."
- Check that it reports the memory was saved.
- In a different conversation, ask: "Search Creo Memories for the language of my work notes."
Also check that the answer came from the Creo Memories tools, not just from the conversation history. As long as you sign in with the same account, you can find saved memories from any client.
Other clients
The following clients also support MCP. Follow each vendor's official guide to set them up. These are links to their guides; they do not mean the connection with Creo Memories has been tested.
ChatGPT is not listed here because Creo Memories does not allow its sign-in return address by default.
| Client | Official guide |
|---|---|
| Gemini CLI | MCP servers (for unpaid tier and Google One users, replaced by Antigravity CLI on 2026-06-18) |
| Cursor | MCP |
| Devin Desktop (formerly Windsurf) | Cascade MCP configuration |
Troubleshooting
- The end of the URL: the server URL ends with
/mcp. Some clients cannot connect with justhttps://mcp.creo-memories.in. - Signed in with a different account: if the memories you see in the web app are not visible to your AI, check that your AI client is signed in with the same account.
